It’s also important to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water throughout the conference. Limit your intake of tea, coffee or alcohol if you are feeling dehydrated.
Here are some good practice tips on responsible drinking:
- Eat before or during drinking.
- Have some food in your stomach which slows down the absorption rate of alcohol.
- Know the standard strength of each drink which is equal to 0.35oz of alcohol.
- Keep track of how many drinks you've had in a specific time period.
- Know your limits.
